The Bridge Forward Prayer Campaign
Shalom Christian Academy began in 1976. Leading up to that time, Shalom founders sought answers to social, economic, and spiritual challenges facing families. Families in our community wanted alternative options in education. Our founders fervently prayed for the vision and mission of Shalom Christian Academy, and today as we face these same challenges, we want to take the same prayerful approach.
When it comes to proposed building projects, we are not about building kingdoms here on earth, which will pass away, but about co-laboring with God to build His eternal kingdom in the lives of young people. Therefore, buildings and expansions of a campus are pursued only to serve His purposes – the advancement of His kingdom. This means we seek God’s guidance to do God’s will with God's provision on God’s timetable. All of these necessary elements of accomplishing God’s plan are given in answer to prayer.
God invites us to ask (Matt. 7: 7-8) and to keep on asking. We should not restrict our thinking about what we think we can do, but pray in submission to His will. Ephesians 3:20-21 says “ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3: 20, 21).
We invite you to join us on a prayer campaign for Shalom’s Christian Academy’s expansion.
Shalom Family, let us pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5: 16-17.) Each week we will send out a prayer for the week through Shalom’s News posts. These posts will go out through the app if you're subscribed to SCA News and through email if you are subscribed to SCA News posts. You can also find all the prayers on this webpage for your convenience. As you see the prayer points for the building project in the weeks to come we encourage you to also study the scriptures which those points are based on. It is our prayer that all of us will understand the whole building project as well as the present operation of the school needs to be continually bathed in prayer.
