Dutchfest Cornhole Tournament Registration - 2025

2025 Cornhole Tournament is sponsored by Bill Bowers Tire & Auto 
May 2 & 3, 2025 
at the Franklin County Fairgrounds/Chambersburg Rod & Gun Club

  • Middle School Division – Friday, May 2nd, 5:30 – 7:00 
  • High School Division – Friday, May 2nd, 7:00 – 8:30 
  • Open Division – Saturday, May 3rd, 12:00 - Finish 

Registration Costs: $20/team 

Registration Due Date:

  • To guarantee a tournament t-shirt – Friday, April 18
  • Final date to register is Thursday, May 1st  (No t-shirt) 

Double Elimination tournament 

Matches are best out of 3. Games 1 & 2 are to 21 points. Game 3 (if necessary) is to 15  points. (No bust for all games) 

“All Points Count” scoring for the entire tournament

Prize: 1st Place – 2 $50 Visa Gift Cards   

2nd Place – 2 $25 Visa Gift Cards 

Participants will need to use provided bags. Can not use your own bags. Teams must be present when it is their turn to play or they will forfeit that game.

TOURNAMENT RULES - BASED ON ACO OFFICIAL RULES 

RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY ORGANIZERS 

  • Board are placed 27 feet from edge to front edge (25 feet for middle school division)
  • Matches will be best out of 3. First 2 games are to 21 points. If a 3rd game is necessary,  it will go to 15 points. (No bust for entire match) 
  • Woody: Refers to any cornhole bag that has been pitched and remains on the cornhole  board at any time within the frame. Each woody is 1 point. 
  • Cornhole: Refers to any cornhole bag that has been pitched and passes through the  cornhole board hole at any time within the frame. Each cornhole is 3 pts. • A bag that comes to rest touching the ground AND the board does not count as a point.
  • ALL POINTS COUNT FOR THE ENTIRE TOURNAMENT 
  • Each team will stay in their designated lane for the whole game 
  • Players will alternate pitching bags until each player has pitched all (4) of their bags
  • The winning team of a coin toss will have choice of first pitch or lane.  
  • Players must deliver the bag with an underhand release
  • Feet must stay behind the line of the front of the board at the time of releasing the  bag. 
  • The player/team who scored the most in the preceding frame pitches first in the next  frame. 
  • If neither player/team scores, the player/team who pitched first in the preceding frame  shall retain first pitch in the next frame.
