DUTCHFEST VENDOR POLICY OF UNDERSTANDING
Thank you for your interest in participating as vendor at Dutchfest, hosted by Shalom Christian Academy. Dutchfest is a cherished community event and an extension of the mission, values, and faith-based foundation of our school.
Purpose of Dutchfest
Dutchfest exists to support and promote the mission of Shalom Christian Academy. The event is designed to foster a welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere grounded in Christian principles. All aspects of the festival—including vendors, activities, and partnerships—are expected to reflect and support this mission.
Vendor Alignment with Mission and Values
As a Christ-centered school, Shalom Christian Academy carefully selects vendors whose products, services, and business practices align with our core values. Participation in Dutchfest is a privilege and is contingent upon alignment with the school’s mission, Christian beliefs, and commitment to maintaining a positive, family-centered environment.
Submission of a vendor application does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are reviewed with prayerful consideration, and selections are made at the sole discretion of the Dutchfest planning committee.
Application Decisions
Vendor decisions are based on several factors, including but not limited to:
- Alignment with the mission and values of Shalom Christian Academy
- Appropriateness for a family-friendly, faith-based event
- Event space limitations and vendor category balance
A decision not to accept an application is not a reflection of the quality of a vendor’s work, products, or professionalism. Rather, it reflects our responsibility to ensure that all event participation remains consistent with the values and mission we serve.
Acknowledgment of Understanding
By submitting a vendor application, applicants acknowledge and agree that:
- Dutchfest is a faith-based event governed by Christian principles
- Vendor acceptance is not guaranteed
- All participation must align with the mission and values of Shalom Christian Academy
- Decisions made by the Dutchfest committee are final
