Celebrating Mike Shaker

Mr. Mike Shaker is retiring after serving our school for 30 incredible years. As Assistant Administrator and Director of Development, he has led Shalom through multiple building expansion projects, created and led events to promote Shalom, and has drawn others into his vision. His energy for life and connection with people has made him a valued part of our school.

In honor of Mr. Shaker we will be having a come and go Open House Retirement Celebration on Wednesday, May 24 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Shalom Christian Academy's Learning Commons.

This is also Shalom Christian Academy Mr. Shaker Day! We invite our students, staff, and faculty to dress like Mr. Shaker (dress up/sweater vests, New York Yankees apparel, Shalom Spirit Wear, Messiah Apparel, Crazy Hats) on that day.

We also invite you to share your favorite story, memory, or thing you love about Mr. Shaker though the form below. We will compile all the memories into a special tribute to Mr. Shaker that will be shared with him during his retirement celebration.
