Congratulations to the 2026 MDCC middle school girls soccer champions. A great victory to end the season with the Lady Flames dominating possession and shutting down every attack our opponents had to offer. The team played confident and controlled throughout the game. The first half goal by Katie Rowles was the only score of the game. Great job ladies!!

A hard fought win for the Lady Flames earning them a spot in the MDCC championship! The team always believed and never gave up fighting hard the entire 60 minutes. A gritty second half goal scored by Nadia Zentz!

Another very solid performance by the Lady Flames today to secure the number 1 seed in the MDCC conference tournament. Their performance on the field this game put on display so many of the skills and plays all the players have been working on so hard all season. Great job ladies!! The Lady Flames traveled down to just north of the Baltimore beltway to take on Perry Hall Christian. Despite the long drive and the abbreviated warm up time, the Lady Flames came out focused and determined. Play was back and forth throughout the game with end to end attacks, quality passing, some good physical battles and solid defense with these two evenly matched teams. Hannah Dayok had a monster game in the net with 19 saves! With 30 seconds to go in the game, Adelyn Underkoffler was able to put one in the back of the net with the assist from Reese Cook. A great team victory for all the ladies and amazing support from the players on the bench!!

A beautiful day for a game against the Broadfording Lady Lions who were vastly improved from when we faced them early in the season. Despite this, the Lady Flames held possession most of the game and put some very nice passing combinations together. We also had some nice build play from the defensive backs to the offensive players to attack. Great job by all players on a well earned victory!! The Lady Flames dominated possession and were in control from start to finish! A particularly nice job being more comfortable in possession, having good communication and passing with purpose. The Lady Falmes took on our conference rival Grace Academy today and did not disappoint. Shalom came out aggressive and had a quick goal in the first 5 minutes with Kassidy Hubers finding the back of the net after a corner kick was bouncing in the box. The second goal came after a Grace Academy hand ball in the box with London Boushell smoothly converting the PK. Alena Wenger added another goal in the first half with an assist from Maylee Keller. In the second half, Kate Rowles put the forth and final goal in after a nice cross from London Boushell. The midfield play, defense and goalkeeping were solid allowing for a nice shutout win. Great job Lady Flames!!

A great way to open the season by the entire team and I'm very proud of both performances. In the first game, the Lady Flames were able to hold off multiple attacks in the first 10 minutes along with some great saves by Hannah Dayok. The team then settled into a nice rhythm which carried on into the second half. We had multiple opportunities at goal just couldn't put one across the line. Great effort by the team! In the second game, the Lady Flames controlled to pace and tempo most of the game. We were the certainly the more aggressive team resulting in many scoring chances and goals. The defense and midfielders closed down many attacks and Maylee Keller made some nice saves in the second half.
