Win36-31
Congratulations to the Shalom Lady Flames, who earned a hard-fought 36–31 victory over the Camp Hill Lady Lions on Friday night to advance to the District 3 AA championship game for the second straight year. It was a gritty, defensive battle from start to finish in front of a loud, packed gym.
Offense was hard to come by early. The Flames managed just four points over the first 15 minutes as Camp Hill’s defense held firm. Shalom’s defense was equally strong, allowing only 13 points, but the Flames trailed 13–4 with one minute left in the half. They responded with a key 7–0 run to close the quarter: Emily Rebok knocked down a three-pointer, and Julianna Myers and Addison Adams each converted two free throws. The surge energized the crowd and pulled the Flames within two at halftime.
Shalom carried that momentum into the third quarter, outscoring the Lions 14–10 to take a two-point lead into the fourth. Camp Hill battled to regain the advantage, but the Flames’ defense held firm while the offense produced just enough. Leading by three with six seconds remaining, Maya Lehman calmly sank two free throws to seal the win.
Addison Adams had a great game leading the Flames with a game-high 16 points as she consistently attacked the middle of Camp Hill’s defense. Emily Rebok added six points, including a crucial offensive rebound and put back in the fourth. Julianna Myers contributed four points while battling on the boards and defending taller opponents throughout the night. Harper Adams came off the bench late in the third quarter making an immediate impact with her strong rebounding while adding four points. Maya Lehman and Sydney Moore each added three to round out the scoring.
With the win, the Flames earned a rematch of last year’s District 3 AA championship against York Catholic. The title game will be played Wednesday, February 25, at 5:30 p.m. at Gettysburg High School.
vs.
Mountain Ridge High School
Win54-48
Congratulations to the Shalom Lady Flames, who traveled to Frostburg, Maryland for their final regular-season game of the 2025–26 campaign and earned a hard-fought 54–48 victory over the Mountain Ridge Lady Miners.
The first quarter was tightly contested, with both teams trading baskets. The Flames held a one-point lead at the end of the period. Mountain Ridge edged ahead briefly in the second quarter, but Shalom closed the half strong to take a one-point advantage into halftime.
Without access to a locker room and spending halftime in the hallway, the Lady Flames came out energized in the third quarter. They erupted for 19 points while holding the Miners to 12. The Flames also made key defensive adjustments on Kealana Puaauli, who had scored 18 points in the first half. She was limited to just three points in the third quarter and three more late in the fourth, finishing with a game-high 24 points.
Mountain Ridge made a late push in the fourth quarter, and the Flames felt the lead tightening. However, Shalom dug deep. Maya Lehman calmly knocked down three of four free throws down the stretch to help secure the six-point win.
The Flames had a balanced offensive effort. Maya Lehman led the way with 16 points. Addison Adams battled through illness to contribute 15 points, and Emily Rebok added 12, including a crucial offensive rebound and put-back in the fourth quarter. Sophomore Sydney Moore recorded six points and six blocks while anchoring the defense. Julianna Myers hit a key free throw in the fourth and once again battled hard on the boards. Sophomore Chloe Diller provided valuable minutes with freshman Harper Adams sidelined due to the flu.
With the win, the Shalom Lady Flames finish the regular season 16–6 and currently sit in second place in the District 3 AA Girls Power Rankings. They will host third-place Camp Hill in the District 3 semifinals next Friday, February 20 at 7:00 p.m.
Come out and support the Flames for what promises to be an exciting girls basketball matchup!

Shalom 40 - Mercersburg 66
The Shalom Lady Flames traveled to Mercersburg Tuesday night for a rescheduled non-PIAA matchup and suffered a tough 66–40 loss. Mercersburg capitalized on its transition game and delivered an outstanding shooting performance from beyond the three-point line, to build a commanding 42–19 halftime lead. The Blue Storm totaled 13 3's for the game.
The Flames battled hard in the second half, playing the Blue Storm evenly, but the 22-point deficit at the break proved too much to overcome.
Offensively, the Flames were once again led by their three senior captains. Maya Lehman scored 10 points, while Addisson Adams and Emily Rebok each added 9. Sophomore Sydney Moore contributed 5 points. Julianna Myers provided a strong presence on the boards, working tirelessly against a much taller Blue Storm squad.

Chambersburg Area High School
Loss48-51
The Trojans sank 17 of 19 attempts from the free throw line and were just able to hold off Shalom Christian by 3 points in a non-league game in Marion on Saturday afternoon.
Maddie Mills tossed in a career-high 28 points for Chambersburg (2-19), including 12 in the final quarter (4-for-4 from the line), to keep the Trojans ahead. The Flames (14-5) made a comeback in the fourth, outscoring Chambersburg, 21-15.
Trojan coach Jamiur King said, “You can’t take anything away from Shalom — they will make a deep District 3 run and most likely the same in states. They are scrappy and stay connected on both sides of the ball.”
For the Flames, ranked No. 2 in Class 2A in District 3, Addison Adams led with 16 points, Emily Rebok added 14 and Sydney Moore scored 12.
vs.
Linville Hill Christian School
Win37-20
Congrats to the Shalom Lady Flames on a hard-fought 37–20 road win over the Linville Hill Lady Lions. The final score doesn’t tell the whole story — this was an intense battle against a strong opponent that knows how to compete.
The game opened slowly. The Flames’ defense was locked in from the start, but the offense struggled to find rhythm against the Lions’ athleticism and pressure. Shalom edged Linville Hill 5–4 in a defensive first quarter. The second quarter followed a similar script, and a Lions three-pointer at the buzzer sent the Flames into halftime trailing 11–10.
Following a "somber" halftime locker room, the Flames came out with renewed energy. Julianna Myers sparked the turnaround with a steal and a basket, helping ignite Shalom’s transition game. The Flames took control in the third quarter, outscoring the Lions 13–6. Their defensive intensity continued to wear Linville Hill down in the fourth, holding them to just 3 points. Maya Lehman slammed the door shut, scoring 9 of her 10 points in the final quarter as the Flames pulled away with a 14–3 run to secure the decisive win.
Addison Adams led the way offensively with 10 points and a team-high 2 assists. Maya Lehman added 10 points and 6 rebounds. Emily Rebok contributed 7 points and 6 boards, while Sydney Moore finished with 6 points and 5 rebounds. Julianna Myers filled the stat sheet with 4 points, 4 steals, and 5 rebounds.
Assistant Coach Joanna Rheam praised the team afterward, telling the Flames they battled through adversity tonight and won the kind of game that they struggled to win last season.
Next up, the Lady Flames host the Chambersburg Lady Trojans at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Come out and catch two local teams in action!
vs.
Lancaster County Christian
Win52-23
Fresh off a tough loss Friday night, the Shalom Lady Flames came out on fire Saturday afternoon, defeating the Lancaster County Christian Lady Lions 52–23. Before the game, the Flames honored their three seniors — Addison Adams, Maya Lehman, and Emily Rebok — who have played a major role in building a culture of excellence at Shalom, especially as the program entered the PIAA last year.
The Flames started slowly, holding just an 11–8 lead after the first quarter, with the Lions’ Sophie McCartney accounting for all 8 of her team’s points. Shalom took control early in the second quarter behind Maya Lehman, who poured in 12 points in the period. Midway through the quarter, Lehman knocked down a three-pointer to surpass the 1,000-point mark for her career — congratulations, Maya! From there, the Flames never looked back, steadily extending the lead in the second half as their defense shut down any hopes of a Lions comeback.
Lehman becomes the second Lady Flame to reach 1,000 points this season. Addison Adams hit the milestone earlier in the year against Lincoln Leadership Academy. The two seniors have pushed and sacrificed alongside each other for four years to reach this achievement.
Lehman led the way with 17 points, while Emily Rebok added 13 as she continued her own climb toward 1,000 career points (now at 776). Adams scored 10 while shutting down McCartney after the opening quarter. Sydney Moore chipped in 4, and Harper Adams added 3 off the bench while providing strong interior defense. Julianna Myers continues to dominate the boards and is becoming a defensive force inside for the Flames.
Next up, the Flames travel to Linville Hill on Monday, looking to avenge a close loss from a year ago. Game time is 5:00 PM.

Executive Education Academy Charter
Loss30-43
The Shalom Lady Flames dropped a hard-fought, physical contest at home Friday night against the Executive Academy Lady Raptors. The Raptors brought the toughest defense the Flames have faced all season, holding Shalom’s typically high-powered offense to just five points in both the second and fourth quarters. The Flames did manage to outscore the Raptors in the first and third quarters.
Shalom cut the deficit to five points with about two minutes remaining in the third quarter, but a prolonged scoring drought beginning at the end of the third quarter that stretched into the final minute of the fourth allowed the Lady Raptors to hold on for the win.
Addison Adams once again set the tone with her energy, leading the Flames with 12 points. Emily Rebok added 8 points while extending multiple possessions by consistently being first to the ball. Freshman Harper Adams scored 4, and Maya Lehman and Sydney Moore chipped in 3 points each. Julianna Myers had a big night on the boards and took three charges on defense, giving the Flames key opportunities to stay in the game.
The Flames are back in action today at home, taking on Lancaster County Christian at 5 PM.

Emily Rebok paced the Flames with 19 points. Addison Adams’ energy ignited the defense in the second quarter, and she finished with 12 points. Sophomore Sydney Moore added 9, while Maya Lehman and Harper Adams chipped in 5 and 3 points to round out the scoring.

New Covenant Christian School
Loss41-43
The Shalom Lady Flames dropped a hard-fought, 43–41 decision to the New Covenant Lady Flames at home on Tuesday night. Credit to New Covenant, who played well, capitalized on their opportunities, and edged out the win.
The Flames were tied after the first quarter, but New Covenant pulled ahead by four in the second quarter behind 10 points from Qynne Dernler. The visitors appeared poised to pull away in the third quarter, building a seven-point lead, but after a timeout Shalom tightened up defensively and battled back. Maya Lehman sparked the comeback, scoring 11 of her team-high points in the final two quarters.
Shalom briefly took the lead late in the game, but New Covenant answered with the go-ahead basket with just four seconds remaining. It was an exciting high school girls’ basketball game played in a great atmosphere in Shalom’s new gym.
Defensively, the Flames surrendered eight three-pointers and struggled to contain New Covenant’s duo of Qynne Dernler and McKenna Kantner, who accounted for all 43 of their team’s points.
Lehman led the Flames with 19 points, while backcourt mate Addison Adams added nine and continued to bring high energy on the defensive end. Sydney Moore contributed six points, and Harper Adams finished with four. Julianna Myers and Emily Rebok battled defensively and on the boards, creating valuable opportunities for their teammates.

The Lions made a push in the third quarter, outscoring the Flames by four and cutting the lead to seven. However, Shalom’s defense stepped up once again in the fourth quarter, holding Camp Hill to just two points while scoring 11 of their own to pull away for the decisive win.
Senior Emily Rebok led the Flames with 13 points, shooting her way out of a brief scoring slump. Maya Lehman continued her three-point surge, knocking down two more triples on her way to 12 points. Freshman Harper Adams added nine points and brought great energy on the defensive end, while Addison Adams continued to set the tone defensively and contributed eight points.

Win68-22
What a way to inaugurate their new gym. The Shalom Lady Flames opened the facility in style, defeating the West Shore Christian Bobcats 68–22. Sydney Moore scored the first two varsity points ever in the new gym, giving the Flames a lead they would never relinquish.
The Flames came out fast, scoring 22 points in the first quarter while holding the Bobcats to just six. Maya Lehman fueled the early surge with three three-pointers, and once again the Flames’ relentless defense set the tone. That defensive intensity continued into the second quarter, as Shalom added 20 more points—nine from Addison Adams—while allowing only five. The Flames stormed into halftime with a commanding 42–11 lead.
Shalom’s scoring attack was well balanced throughout the night. Senior Addison Adams continued her impressive play, leading the team with 16 points. McConnellsburg
Win62-24
Congratulations to the Shalom Lady Flames, who went on the road Monday night and earned a commanding 62–24 victory over the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans.
The Flames’ offense struggled in the first half, but their stifling defense more than made up for it. McConnellsburg was limited to just three foul shots and two field goals before halftime, allowing Shalom to build a 23–7 lead at the break. Any offensive issues were quickly corrected at halftime, as the Flames exploded for 26 points in the third quarter. Seniors Maya Lehman and Addison Adams led the charge, with Lehman scoring 16 points and Adams adding 8 in the quarter.
Julianna Myers continues to play a vital supporting role in the team’s success, providing outstanding defense and relentless effort on the boards. Sophomore Sydney Moore has also been impressive, playing lockdown defense and leading the team in blocks.
Offensively, the story of the night belonged to three seniors who have been playing together since sixth grade. Lehman led the Flames with 23 points, including four three-pointers. Emily Rebok added 18 points, while Adams contributed 12. Together, the trio accounted for 53 of the Flames’ 62 points.

Susquenita High School
Loss35-44
The Shalom Lady Flames appeared to feel the effects of the holiday break, looking rusty in a 44–35 loss to the Susquenita Lady Hawks on Tuesday afternoon. The defeat marked the first loss of the season for the Lady Flames.
The Flames struggled early, committing multiple turnovers. With senior Addison Adams picking up her fourth foul by the end of the first quarter, Shalom found itself trailing 16–10. By the middle of the second quarter, the deficit grew to 21–12, and it appeared the game might slip away. However, the Flames responded by tightening their defense, slowing the Hawks’ momentum and scoring several baskets to cut the lead back to six by halftime.
The third and fourth quarters were played back and forth, with the Flames trimming the deficit to four points multiple times, the last coming with about three minutes remaining. Shalom was unable to get any closer, however, as the Hawks benefited from a significant free-throw advantage, attempting 21 foul shots compared to just six for the Flames. Susquenita’s defensive pressure also prevented Shalom from settling into its usual offensive rhythm.
Maya Lehman led the Flames with 11 points and three steals. Emily Rebok added 10 points and 11 rebounds, while sophomore Sydney Moore contributed eight points and six rebounds.
Next up, the Shalom Lady Flames will face the York Catholic Lady Irish on Saturday, January 3rd, at 1:30 p.m. at West York Area High School. The Lady Irish are a familiar opponent, as they defeated the Flames at the Giant Center in the District 3 championship game this past February.

York Country Day’s Sydney Williams provided a spark in the third quarter, scoring six of her team-high 13 points, but the Flames’ balanced attack continued to extend the lead. Shalom moved the ball well and consistently created quality scoring opportunities, a hallmark of their unselfish play this season.
Emily Rebok led all scorers with 14 points, followed by Sydney Moore and Harper Adams with 10 each. Addison Adams added eight points while delivering another outstanding defensive effort, and Maya Lehman controlled the tempo from the point guard position with a steady, composed performance.

On the night the Flames honored Addison Adams for reaching the 1,000-point milestone, she delivered again—scoring 20 points and playing outstanding defense on Braves point guard Janae Patterson. Her sister Harper Adams added three three-pointers on her way to 13 points. Sophomore Sydney Moore scored 11, and Maya Lehman added 5.
Coach Lehman noted that the Flames played the best team defense he’s seen from them in three years. Julianna Myers, playing through an injury suffered on Saturday, came up big on the boards and anchored the interior defense.
