ACSI Award Winners

Shalom is accredited by Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Each year teachers choose juniors and seniors who will receive the ACSI Distinguished High School Students Award. There are limited spaces for each category. Teachers' decisions are based on performance inside and outside of the classroom.

Congratulations to Shalom Christian Academy ACSI Award Winners for 2020!

The Silas Bland Scholarship was established in the winter of 2016 in honor of Silas Bland, a sixth grade student, who passed away October 16, 2016. The $500 scholarship toward Shalom tuition is awarded to a rising senior who displays characteristics of Silas: Sincerity - a heart-felt eagerness to do what is right; Obedience - before God and those in authority; Loyalty - demonstrating an ongoing commitment to stand by others and to consider others before self; Compassion - consistently showing care and concern for the well-being of others; and Kindness - being a good friend to all.
