Academics

Shalom is first a school, and we strive to be intentional about how we plan curriculum so that students are engaged in learning and thriving in their environment. We work to guide students to critically evaluate resources, work collaboratively, and seek opportunities to learn new things. This means that content must be relevant and current. As we maintain a strong academic program we also keep an awareness that relationships are paramount. Our students are also persons who are far more than a percentage grade. Knowing them as individuals allows teachers to provide guidance for students to reach their potential.
