Our 2006 and 2007 Dutchfest celebrations began Thursday evening with a special concert from Shalom High School Chorale and special musical artists. Our 2006 concert featured Poet Voices, and our 2007 concert featured Benton and Company. Ala carte supper items were sold. Thursday, May 1, 2008, our Chorale will be singing with featured artists Bill and Kren Itzel, beginning at 6:30 PM. Food items will be sold.
Dutchfest will begin Friday, May 2, 2008; all the food concession stands open (featuring our delicious pork bar-b-que sandwiches and homestyle Dutch foods) and the craft show starts at 5:30. Also featured on Friday are three different auctions: Winross Trucks and collectible toys auction, Heifer auction, and Longaberger™ Basket auction. There's sure to be something to interest everyone!
Saturday morning, May 3, 2008, starts with breakfast, which is served from 7:30-9:30 AM. Children will be able to participate in various activities throughout the day. The general auction begins at 9:30 AM. Below is a schedule of the auctions and events:
