Shalom Christian Academy Academic Major

Designed for the student who is looking toward higher education. The stress is placed on higher math, science, and language. Students need to work to their fullest potential in both the required courses as well as extra electives. This is a difficult course of study but is needed if a student plans to go to college. The requirements for graduation reflect on the entrance requirements of many colleges and universities. An Academic major must take the equivalent of 6 1/4 credits per year. Academic students must average a minimum of 7 full periods of course work per day.
