- Shalom Christian Academy is an independent preschool-12th
grade Christian day school governed by an eleven member board of
directors elected to a four-year term by the Parent Association.
The association is made up primarily of interested individuals who are members of one of the "historic peace
churches" (Brethren in
Christ, Church of the Brethren, German Baptist, Mennonite, and Old Order River Brethren).
Shalom is located in a rural area in southcentral
Pennsylvania, four miles south of Chambersburg and one mile north of Marion.
