For the first half of the year eighth graders will learn about various aspects of our government.
From elections for local, state and national representitives, to how laws are made.
Students will have a basic understanding of how our government operates.

The second half of the year is spent studing events in Pennsylvania's history; from the indians to revolutionary times to the civil war. to more recent events.
Students will learn how events that happened in PA's history has influenced the entire contry.
