About Mr. Showalter
Educational Philosophy
I believe it is important for students to make connections with what they are studying about. I do my best to make learning interesting for the students. By varying the style in which I teach I attempt to keep students from getting "bored". I have always felt that if the students enjoy coming to class they will be more open to what I am teaching.
My Role
For the 2007-2008 school year, I will be a eighth grade homeroom teacher and teach social studies to the middle school grades.
- New World History and Geography for sixth grade.
- World Geography for seventh grade.
- Half a year of Civics and half a year of Pennsylvania History for eight grade.
