 My name is Peter Zucconi.  The Lord has blessed me with the experience of teaching the past 29 years here at Shalom!

     Learning Disabilities

     The Learning Enrichment Program, our program at Shalom for students with learning disabilities, is patterned after the Educational Therapy model of the National Institute of Learning Disabilities of which Shalom is a member school.         Students in the program receive educational therapy twice a week in a one-to-one setting.  The goal of therapy is to stimulate areas of weakness in perception and thinking, strengthening weak, vulnerable learning systems so students may become successful, independent learners.  This has been my primary responsibility the last 27 years!   Therapy gives the student the tools to be successful in the classroom!       American History

       The American History I course covers the years from the Age of Exploration to the American Civil War. Grades are based on tests, quizzes and homework.
