Saxon Math
The school uses Saxon Math with Biblical
integration in the upper elementary and higher grade levels. This gives
consistency and familiarity with a Christian perspective. Saxon Math
uses the "review and building blocks concept" in its lessons. It is
organized in "units" of time, where a unit is the instructional time
between chapter tests. For.example, a three week time period may be
considered a " unit" to complete ten lessons, quizzes, and a
test. Math instruction using the Saxon Math curriculum in conjunction
with manipulative, supplemental practice, and practice worksheets has
proved to be very successful in the learning of mathematics.
