Creative Cooking and Food Preservation - Learn how to preserve foods by canning and freezing in order to avoid the preservatives/additives which you find in the many preprepared foods in our grocery stores. Enjoy the fun and creativity of outdoor cooking and how to keep picnic foods safe to eat. Take time to enjoy God's creation by eating outside. God has given us creative minds; we can use that creativity in preparing foods by using the many flavors we find in herbs and spices. We may never be able to travel throughout the U.S. to taste the foods of the various regions but we study these in this class and try to create the flavors unique to each region.
