 Job Description

I teach 4th grade at Shalom Christian Academy.

Educational Background

Bachelor of Science in Education from Shippensburg University.  (December 1988)

Teaching Experience

I taught both 3rd grade and 5th grade for Washington County Schools until after we had our first child.  I remained home and home- schooled our daughter from 1995 until April of 2001.  In April of 2002, I took a long term substitute position for 5th Grade at Shalom Christian Academy.  I was hired to teach 4th Grade for the 2002-2003 school year and have been here ever since.

Personal Information

I was born and raised in the Waynesboro, Pennsylvania area.   I am married and have two children.   I am a member of Five Forks Brethren In Christ Church.  My favorite activities include spending time outdoors with my family.
