a B.S. in Engineering Physics from West Virginia Wesleyan College,
Buckhannon, WV
1 year of graduate work in music theory at
Roosevelt University, Chicago Il.
EXPERIENCE: I began teaching music at Shalom in 2006. I am also music director at Christian Life Church, Chambersburg
working with the worship team and the adult choir. I have also taught private music lessons.
FAMILY: I am married to Ken Carlson, a middle school world history teacher at Waynesboro Middle School.
We have one daughter, Natalie, who attends school here at Shalom.
INTERESTS: Besides preparing for the music programs here and at church, I enjoy scrapbooking,
writing songs, and eating out!
