My position: Guidance  Counselor/8th Grade Bible Teacher/ Senior Seminar Teacher

Favorite Aspects of my Job: I really love working at Shalom Christian Academy. I particularly enjoy working with students to help them reach their full potential in Christ.  Some of the things that I enjoy most are working with students to connect them with colleges, careers, and/or missions opportunities that develop their God-given gifts and interests. God has blessed me with work and a work environment that I really enjoy.

Favorite Bible Verse: "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee. " Isaiah 26:3 I appreciate this verse because it reminds me that peace is not dependent on circumstances but rather on having God as our focus.

Family:  Wife Cherina and two sons, Ian and Sawyer.  For the 2008-2009 school year, our family has grown to include Matthew from Taiwan and Si-beom from South Korea.

• Messiah College B.A. in Mathematics Education
• Lancaster Bible College M.Ed. in Secondary Guidance Counseling 

Hobbies and Interests: Gardening, Playing baseball with our boys
