The teacher in this full-time position works in a self-contained classroom, and is part of a team of other teachers at the same grade level. An education degree is required. A current state and/or ACSI certification is helpful. 
 

This position requires being an integral part of a team that provides a supportive learning environment for students in 6th grade. Specifically, this teacher develops and implements lesson plans for instruction in English Language Arts and Social Studies. A degree in education is required. State and/or ACSI certification is helpful.
 

This position requires being an integral part of a team that provides a supportive learning environment for middle and high students. Specifically, this teacher develops and implements lesson plans for instruction in Social Studies. A degree in education is required. State and/or ACSI certification is helpful.
 

This position requires being an integral part of a team that provides a supportive learning environment for high school students. This is primarily a life science position, but will also include other courses. A degree in education is required. State and/or ACSI certification is helpful.

This position requires being an integral part of a team that provides a supportive learning environment for high students. This position includes teaching chemistry, physics, geometry and calculus.  A degree in education is required. State and/or ACSI certification is helpful.

This teacher provides reading and/or math intervention and support to secondary students by pushing into classrooms or pulling students out. An education degree is required. State and/or ACSI certification is helpful.

This person in this half-time position teaches secondary students. They are part of a team with another PE teacher and the Athletic Director. An education degree is required. State and/or ACSI certification is helpful.
 

This adjunct teacher teaches a 1 period block (80 minutes) for one semester. (Depending on the date of hire, we can be flexible with which semester and the time of day.) This individual needs a bachelor’s degree in the subject area, progress towards academic credentials, nationally recognized professional certification, 15 years of professional experience, including high school or college level teaching in the discipline OR a combination of these factors.
 

Shalom is seeking a part-time custodian - 25 hours/week all year. The position can be either late evening or early morning hours and some Saturday hours. We will work with the employee to determine the best hours. The employee must be able to do general cleaning throughout the school building. Summer hours may vary. Starting wage is negotiable. There is a tuition discount.  

Substitute teachers needed for grades PreK-12 in all content areas. Classroom teachers provide detailed lesson plans so that the educational experience can continue. It is helpful to have an education background, but it is not required. Individuals on the substitute teacher list can request specific days of the week and preferred grades or subject areas.
